How we work together.

ESTHTX Studios, of Iowa City, IA 52246, United States, and you as the client. These terms cover work quoted through esthtx.com and accepted in writing.

Website and Shopify storefront builds, ecommerce setup, Meta ads management, graphic design, content marketing and distribution, and clip channel editing and posting. Your quote lists what you are buying. Anything not written into it is not in scope, which protects you as much as us.

Every project gets a fixed price and a fixed date before anything starts. No hourly drift and no surprise invoice at the end. A quote holds for 30 days.

If the scope changes, we re-quote it and wait for your yes before doing the work. You will never find extra work already done and already billed.

• Projects: 50% to start, 50% on delivery. Work begins when the first payment lands.
• Monthly retainers: billed monthly in advance.
• Invoices are due on receipt. Work pauses on accounts more than 14 days overdue, and resumes once they are settled.

Two rounds of revisions are included on each deliverable. Collect your feedback into one pass per round rather than sending it in pieces, because that is what keeps a project on its date.

Beyond two rounds, or where feedback changes the brief rather than refining the work, we quote the extra separately before starting it.

Product images, copy, brand assets and account access, plus decisions inside a reasonable window. This is the honest one: builds stall waiting on client feedback more often than on anything else. The timeline pauses while we are waiting, and we will say so at the time rather than at the end.

Most storefronts go live in two to four weeks. Delays caused by missing assets, slow approvals, or platform review queues at Meta or the app stores extend that. Those queues are outside our control and we do not promise dates that depend on them.

You do, once the final payment clears. The code, the accounts, the assets, the files. No lock-in, no licence that expires, nothing that stops working if you stop working with us.

We keep the right to reuse our own general tools, techniques and know-how, which are not specific to your project and are not part of what you commissioned.

Shopify plans, domains, paid fonts, plugins, apps and advertising spend are yours and are billed to you by those platforms directly. Our fee is for the work, not the media. Ad budget is never included in a management fee.

We commit to the work and the method, not to a revenue number. We will tell you what we are doing and why, show you what changed, and say plainly when something is not working. What we cannot do is guarantee a return, and you should be wary of anyone in this industry who does.

• Retainers: either side can end it with 30 days written notice. The current month is not refunded, and we finish what that month covers.
• Projects, before work starts: the deposit is refunded in full.
• Projects, once work has started: the deposit is not refunded, because the slot was held and the work is under way. You keep everything completed to that point.

We may show completed work in our portfolio, on this site and in proposals. Tell us you would rather we did not, and we will not. No explanation needed, and it changes nothing else about the project.

Your numbers, your catalogue, your margins and your strategy stay between us. This runs both ways, and it holds after a project ends.

Our liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the work it relates to. We are not liable for lost profits, lost sales or other indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, United States, and any dispute belongs to the courts there.

We may update this page. The version that applies to your project is the one in force when you accepted your quote. The date at the top says when it last changed.
